Hydrological cycle

in #blog6 years ago

In this am explaning about hydrological cycle.
Water evaporates in the ocean evaporates due to heat energy provided by solar radiation. The water moves upward and forms clouds. While much of clouds condense & fall back to the oceans as rain, a part of the clouds is driven to the land areas by winds. There they condense and precipitate on to landmass as rain, snow etc..A part og precipitation may evaporates back
to the atmosphere.A portion of the water surafec that reaches thr ground enters the earth's surface through infiltration.Vegetation sends a portion of water from under the ground surface back to the atmosphere through the process of transpiration. The ground water may come to the surface through springs &other outlets after spending a considerably longer time than surface flow. The portion of precipitation which by a variety of the paths above & below the surface of earth reaches the stream channek is calked runoff.Once it enters a stream channel runoff becomes stream flow.
