Italy is in a deep hole!?
Since 1958 for the first time Italy won't be at the World Cup.
A very determined Swedish squad stopped the Italians last night. They managed to stand all the pressure and with some unbelievable, miracle-like moments survived 90 minutes last night and managed to get through with a 0-0 (after a first 1-0 win).
Is this just a short term situation, the Italian squad just lost sight? Or is it a hole that has been building for years now and will be very difficult to climb out from?
