That is the tip of the iceberg Jay. I hope you do read more about the true history of the United States of America and to get that you have to read the congressional records and the senate reports. Not the history books. In fact if you go look at the History.com and their day in history for March 6 thru March 9 you won't find a word about it. Because the goal is to hide the truth from us.
Yes in so many cases and not just here finding the truth requires some serious effort
That is the truth, serious effort, which most people aren't willing to do.
I agree most people like to find a source that tells them what they want to hear and take that to be the truth
