A Great Day with Friends! <3
I had a great day today!
After 3 years or so, I finally met one of my Japanese friends again. :)
This friend used to be my student in the English Academy I worked for 3-4 years ago. We were able to create a significant bond that made us keep in touch even when she graduated and went back to Japan.
She's staying in Cebu for just 4 days, but it's still a great thing! <3 She's with her University friend and we were introduced with each other, too. So, I gained a new friend today as well... :D
I was surprised because this new friend gave me a souvenir! <3
Actually, there was another box of Matcha KitKat, but I already gave it to my dad, so I couldn't include it in the picture. He loves them as much as I do. When my new friend knew about this, she was so glad. ^^
My friend who used to be my student also prepared a gift for me, but because of being in a hurry, she forgot to take it with her in going to our meeting place. (These are actually reference books for Japanese study!!! Yaaaay~!!! She used to teach me Japanese, too... She's a "kibishi" teacher.. lol)
They were late due to traffic, but I didn't mind... Imagine, they just arrived, went to their guest house and went directly to our meeting place. I knew how hectic their schedule was... but my friend still apologized a lot of times. She's really kind and polite. <3 I just feel happy that she wanted to meet me as soon as they arrived.. ^^
We had dinner together while having some catching up and getting to know you time... then I accompanied them in buying some groceries for their 4-day stay in Cebu. ^^
I'm meeting them again tomorrow. <3 So, I'm looking forward to having more catching up and getting to know each other time!
I haven't asked permission from them, so I won't be disclosing their identities for now... but when I got their permission, I'll be sharing our pictures together as well as their names... <3 I'm planning to introduce this awesome platform to them, too. ^^
