Reneesance festival 🍻
Hi Steemers! I recently celebrated my birthday with an Octoberfest 🍻 meets Halloween themed party 🎃.
We hitched up our "beer tent" in the backyard and decorated it with the traditional Bavarian colours of blue and white.
Giant pretzels and salami wrapped pickles kicked off the German inspired BBQ.
Also on the menu were cheese kransky, bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad and black forest cake.
Guests got into the spirit by dressing in beer wench outfits, lederhosen or their chosen Halloween costume.
We had a shot station, where you could help yourself to apple shnapps or jagermeister shots.
A LOT of beer was drunk (as well as copious amounts of other liquour 😉)....
Party started mid arvo with all the puntual guests who showed up on time haha
But raged on well into the night as more heads started to roll in!
'Twas a good day and night and throughly enjoyed my first namesake festival! Think everyone else did too so this might just become an annual event 🎉🍻🇩🇪🎃🎂!!!
