Hello, Friends!

A little distraction from the lyrics and political dissatisfaction :) Here's a casket-pumpkin made by my wife yesterday... maybe it's coming Halloween is sneaking into thoughts, but maybe something else. I hope that you'll like it!

Make a paper shape and wrap it with foil.

"Wrap up" in polymer clay segments (any color you like)!

If you want, you can "adjust the shape" and then toned by dry pastel.

Bake it according to the instructions! Then cut out the top part.

Take out all unnecessary.

What we need next? Of course the orange color! :) The internal texture is obtained with the help of a hard brush.

And bake again... after that, lacquering!

Happy with the result... or not, here everything is individual :)

I love it! Very creative and original. I find it is very cute, I would like to do something like this one day :)

Super act of art, your wife must have done such things well during her school days, wait a minute! Someone could imagine the type of happy home you've got, full of play and happiness.

Such art work you just posted takes a good time of crawling in the floor, painting like kids, mixed feelings of laughter and mistakes, a lot of talking to each other and so on which are good measures to intimacy amongst couples.

Man you are blessed! Upped.

wow really creative... I think u should do some videos on this... please and thanks

maybe, maybe :)

Very nicely done-- and a lovely outcome! I really appreciate the step-by-step, as this is not a medium I'm really familiar with... my wife does do a little sculpting (mostly figures) with polymer clay, but nothing like that.

Do you celebrate Halloween in Russia? I thought it's only North America and parts of Europe.

Russians like to "steal" holidays... any holiday is an occasion to drink vodka! Haha :)

Yeah, I have seen that in Goa, India. It's 50% Brits and 40% Russians there.
It makes sense as lots of alcohol on Goan beaches. ;)

I checked your earlier posts, and I see you have been to South America and other parts of the world.
Enjoy. ;)

Nope :) I was only in Russia and China... In the "early" there were posts from other authors. It is marked by inserting "featuring"

Ah, I see. I just skimmed through the posts. Did you drink a lot of Vodka in China? :D

I do not drink alcohol at all... I - defective Russian :)

Haha, you rebel!

Very nice post. Your title caught my attention and the step-by-step creative lesson was superb. Your wife is very talented and the last picture could be framed and displayed. I have seen pumpkins used in many ways even at a Fall wedding painted white along with other decorative properties and the composition was very pretty and effective.

Thank you. I'm really very proud of my wife! :)

Excellent work! I am delighted. From the first steps I did not even think that such a work would turn out!
