Police Brutality: The Real Implications of the Media


This post emphasizes the power of journalism and how strong the media can be, especially regarding the topic of police brutality. I contemplate that with a focus on the exposure of police brutality, we are conditioning the general public to believe that a majority of the police force are violent pigs or someone one should avoid, instead of acknowledging that for every bad cop, there are thousands of good cops are consistently do good deeds in the community.

This post seeks to compare and contrast two idealistic viewpoints of how the tensions between North and South Korea were dealt with, as there were two completely contrasting attitudes regarding South Korea's viewpoint on what to do with North Korea, in addition to the other outlying countries.

I imagined these different cryptocurrencies as fishes in the pool, and the capabilities of Steem and how it can join the big fishes of the existing pool.

Learning about the Blockchain: Proof of Work vs. Proof of Stake


This short post highlights a problem that I'm confident most users of the blockchain have had before, where it's running into that roadblock trying to explain blockchains and cryptocurrencies to someone that is completely oblivious to the issue, only associating everything blockchain-related to something like BitCoin. This article compares and contrasts Proof of Work vs. Proof of Stake and the pros and cons for both, and why Steemit is a great platform as a proof-of-stake platform.
