Perception- An Intense Resource

Different people have different perceptions about different things, you must have often heard the question 

“ If you see a glass half filled with water, what would your assumption be, the glass is 50% filled or it is 50% empty”? 

Well, this might seem to be an absurd idea in order to gauge the extent of positive thinking of an individual, yet at the same time, one can’t deny the seriousness that it offers. It elaborates the essence of being positive at handling day to day activities. You perception is truly linked to the answer to that perplexing question about the glass of water.  

Wondering About The Answer?

 It is we only, who tend to be our friends or who tend to be our enemies instead. The way we think, is the way we do. 

Thinking the glass of water to be half filled, would support the fact that, the glass is useful and it supplies the water, no matter if it supplies that in lesser amount, on the other hand, if you perceive that by considering it to be half empty, you might think over to replace it with a completely filled glass of water, in the course of which, you will waste your time in finding another one, while your thirst could well be served with the first partially filled glass of water. 

This is how, we move on in our lives, this is how one succeeds or fails. 

How Does Perception Make Your Day?

Tom woke up early in the morning, he got a call from his office colleague that he needs to urgently come to the office, he was in a rush, so he couldn’t inform him the reason why. 
Now, at this time, Tom is the one, who would perceive this event in either a positive or a negative mindset. He might start thinking : Oh! I might have been caught in some mistake of mine, Oh! Some of my work might have been rejected by the Boss Or, Mr. Tom could handle this very situation by perceiving it with a positive mindset. 
He might start thinking that, Oh! Surely there must be some great news, I might have been considered for a promotion, I might have been called for an important assignment. There are numerous examples like this, that we may come across on daily basis. 
 Your friend doesn’t reply to your message In time, you start thinking that he’s ignoring you- This is a negative mindset, whereas if you think that your friend might be busy with something and he will reply you once he’s free- is a positive perception. Science has concluded that positive thinking contributes well in making you a healthy minded and strong nerved individual. 
As It supplies you the necessary energy that is essential for fulfilling your daily routine tasks. You can take an event and think about his consequences with a positive mindset, that something good is going to happen, but if you linger on by accumulating pessimistic thoughts into your mind, you will eventually fail in your plan, no matter even if you had all the skills and talent to accomplish your task.  

Power Of Positive Thinking

The perception of taking things positively, assist in getting you inner peace, conscience stability and confidence within your personality. People with positive mindset can become successful, no matter if they even don’t possess the required number of resources, they believe in themselves to such a great extent, that no one can break their firm belief and no one can mislead them.
