In 1993, The Rapper, Tupac, received a letter from the parents of Joshua who had terminal illness. In the letter his parents said that Joshua's death wish is to meet Tupac. Tupac flew to Maryland to meet him and even took him to a basketball game. When Joshua died, Tupac changed the name of his record company, From "Ghetto Gospel Music" To "Joshua's Dream"
