As technology moves forward, so does the requirements of your website, not too far back we recommended adding geo-targeting to sites that were based in a physical location, this proved to be immensely successful with such sites showing up on page one of major search engines when people did local searches.

Moving forward, came the advent of mobile-friendly sites, these are now pretty much the norm and in fact, sites are penalised if they are not mobile-friendly.

The latest 'new kid on the block' when it comes to sites is to have it voice search enabled. A small snippet of code to do this, and then will be searchable on smart home devices such as Alexa, Google Home and Siri.

The main thing is, keep up to date of new practices and stay ahead (or at least keep up with) your competition.
