The historic lighthouse was built in 1880 and guides the ferry and other sea going vessels between the Port of Souris and the Magdalen Islands.

Thanks so much @bluefinstudios. Lots of lighthouses to explore on PEI. This one has nautical artifacts inside. After being decommissioned by the government, communities have banded together to look after the lighthouses.
yeah, most of our local lighthouses are some kind of a foundation, local community support etc.
