The ocean is a magical place full of wonders. My favourite way of exploring the ocean is on my Bodyboard with a set of fins getting shacked. So i thought i would spread some love for 2017 APB Bodyboarding world champion and fellow South African, Iain Campbell.
At only 26 years old Iain Campbell has devoted his life to doing the best he can in achieving his dreams. Some would say he has confidently done so. In 2017 he managed to keep on top of his form and became the third South African bodyboarder to win a world title. During the Nazaré's event in Portugal, Iain Campbell managed to score a win against Diego Cabrera which earned him, his first world title. Originally from Central Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. In 2016, He moved to Cape Town with his super supportive girlfrind, Rose. On the search for Icey barrels and a win.
Beyond satisfied, Iain Campbell went on creating a Film Called 'Chasing the Southern Sun'. It is a bodyboarding orientated film documenting him as he lives out his passion. Throughout the film Iain speaks while showing his amazing experience of tracking swell beyond South African boarders. Showcasing nothing but the best skill, he has managed to pull of an extraordinary bodyboarding film that represents not only his passion but the love behind the sport too. Below the full 'chasing the southern sun' can be veiwed.
The film just brings goosebumps, his delivery and style is just insane !!! bellow is a link to a website that allows you to go threw an interview and the head space of the champion himself. He has worked so hard to get to where he is and to the place he wants to be. I am exited to see what Iain has to offer 2018.
