Funky 1967 book - The Autumn of Post Coital Despair

If you lived through the "summer of Love" in 1967, and appreciate life in NYC at that time then you might appreciate this book, I just discovered today. Starts with a love story with a 19 year old guy with a cougar mistress, who respects his brain and photographic memory growing up in 1967.
