Botanical Garden Tours : #006 Primula Denticulata : Drumstick Primula / Kugel-Primel

I would like to welcome everyone to another day of #botanicalgardentours . Today I want to show to you the Primula Denticulata, also known as the Drumstick Primula.

Ich möchte euch alle herzlich auf einen weiteren Tag mit den#botanicalgardentours einladen Heute möchte ich euch die Primula Denticulata vorstellen, die auch als Kugel-Primel bekannt ist.

The Primula Denticulata is common in the moist regions of Afghanistan to West-China, India, Kashmir, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan. The flower usually grows in open and loose bushes that can get up to 50 cm high. The petals are oval shapef and have a intense purple colour and a length of 1.2 cm. The stamen in the middle have a pink colour and can get up to 6 mm long. Multiple flowers will grow together to spherical shape in the end. The pictures I show here are closely before the burst of the buds and you can see them very nicely in the various stages of opening.

Die Primula Denticulata ist in den feuchten Regionen Afghanistans bis West-China Bhutans, Indiens, Kaschmirs, Myanmars, Nepals und Pakistans verbreitet. Die Blume wächst normalerweise in offenen und kahlen Büschen, die bis zu 50 cm hoch werden können. Die Blütenblätter sind oval geformt und haben eine intensive lila Farbe und eine Länge von 1,2 cm. Das Staubblatt in der Mitte hat eine rosa Farbe und kann bis zu 6 mm lang werden. Am Ende wachsen mehrere Blüten zu einer Kugelform zusammen. Die Bilder, die ich hier zeige, sind kurz vor dem Platzen der Knospen und ihr könnt sie in den verschiedenen Stadien des Öffnens sehr schön sehen.
