Limited Box of Context

We all live within a box and don’t know it. That’s because we can’t see it. That’s because it’s in our head. Humans are naturally good learners, good with language, pattern recognition, good at many things, but also very good at imitating. Wherever we came out at in the world, we were very good at absorbing those notions, cultural nuances, and biases. We are taught early in the West that it’s good to have opinions, but unfortunately for most of life our opinions are built on sand. We learn to judge even though we have no experience. We decide who to include and who to exclude based on past prejudices. We live in a box of limited context, but unfortunately nearly all of our waking life we forget we are stuck inside these four dark mental walls. Walls that like to divide, label, see things as linear, and make expeditious decisions that are convenient. It is only later we find out the consequences of our meager and petty understanding.
