Allianz Will Soon Accept Cryptocurrencies as Payment

Following on from FB and then Walmart, we now see insurance company wade into the crypto space.

Unlike others is seems Allianz has already developed the platform and is ready to roll out a test net.

“The basic core infrastructure has been built and tested, and the next step will be to trial money transfers with a limited scope and for a short period of time to conclude testing and prove hypotheses,” an Allianz spokesperson said.

How long it will be before more large corporates jump on the crypto express is unclear, but they will come as they have no choice. Fortran and Cobal based systems died a long time ago. The new tech age is here
