Bratislava World Music Festival 2018

For the third year in a row, Bratislava will host a festival named the World Music Festival. The grand opening of the festival is on September 13th (today), and it will last until September 16th.

This isn't just an alternative event, it is also an interesting event. Do you know how the entire festival will start today? There will be arranged three secret concerts in Bratislava, but the locations haven't been disclosed yet. So, as the time approaches the rumors will spread, and you will be able to find out what's going on where.

This is an international festival, and a local festival. The goal is to present some of the best there is from the local musicians and artists, but at the same time bring international stars to the stage. You will be presented with lots of music-styles, but the main focus is on world music, folk music, ethno-jazz, and a mixture of these.

You should notice that on September 16th, the last day of the festival, there will be a big event at 16.00 at the main Hviezdoslav square in the heart of the city, so make sure to be in the area if you visit Bratislava this weekend. This is also the square which hosts the most popular Christmas market in Bratislava every year.
