Optimism with the biggest gains once again...

For the second 24 hour time-frame in a row Optimism is the biggest gainer in the crypto markets among the top #100 tokens according to market cap. If I would include tokens in the top #500 according to MarketCap, there are a few tokens performing better, for example the MEME coin on Avalanche COQ, BRETT, and ether.fi. What is BRETT? It is a the brother of the MEME coin PEPE, only that it is running on the Base chain.

What are my thoughts about those MEME coins? I really don't like them, and I feel like the MEME coins are similar to the NFTs during the last bull run. It was fun if you bought at the right time, but most of them have no value at all, making it crap and a poor long-term investment. Of course, there might be some cases in which that isn't true, but still - in general, lots of junk!

I'd stay safe and buy Bitcoin isntead!
