NYC MILD SPRING START THEN RETURN TO TYPICAL MARCH
Good morning everyone. Spring is on its way and we begin our first full day of it Friday on a very mild note thanks to an approaching cold front. However, that same cold front will bring a very March-like weekend, with some wind and chilly conditions.

We'll have a sunny day throughout most of the day today, then clouds will increase late as a warm front heads in. That'll bring some rain overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 50's, then a gloomy low 50's tomorrow.
Our cold front for Friday will hang back just long enough to give us a pretty mild day. Look for clouds to linger with maybe some blue patches, humid, and highs in the low 70's. As always, it'll be cooler at the shore and east end of Long Island.
As that front passes through, we could see a thin line of Thunderstorms develop, with maybe a few showers ahead of that main line. Look for a few brief heavy showers, then maybe a brief thunderstorm if the line holds together.
After a 70 degree day Friday, we barely reach 50 on Saturday with a breezy day. Overnight, we could see some upper 20's dotting the area for a cold night.
On Sunday, the core of the cold air heads in and even though we're sunny & dry, mid to upper 40's will be the best we do.
