Brutal for people with assets on that exchange. I am really curious as to how crypto will find solutions for those that pass away while not having granted anyone else their keys.

brutal indeed - technically for people who don't share keys with anyone - funds simply get burnt at there death - which maybe isn't a bad thing or a good thing - simply is what it is - if it's easy for people to take other people;s keys...than kind of defeats the whole purpose of the privacy of keys in the first place - though could be some sort of thing done with like a kyc relationship of sorts....maybe eos will flesh something out...in a decentralized way...
