As each observer has his own clock, his own time, no one but himself is right now, and now is a huge two-dimensional sheet, without any thickness, determined by the distance that the speed of light needs to travel the distance between the observer and who is observer of it.

You do not see anyone's now, you see their past, and the rest see your past and you see in their future. An imperceptible difference of space or time, and the observer can not observe The observation only happens inside the plate.

If your twin brother goes for a spin around a very massive object, he will return to your future and you will see his past. And if you watch it, you will see that its clock is slow, slower than yours, so you are "traveling" to your future without moving. But you can not escape from you now.
