For anyone new reading, this is not advice nor am i an expert trader. I'm just attempting to log what I do when I trade based off my own thoughts and past experiences. Do your own research. This is just an experiment between trading for profit during bull runs compared to delegating to a bot ROI.
This is the 1 Day chart on Steem right now, I'm expecting it will either go back down a bit before reaching an area close to the recent high at ~878 or cross it higher.
Replacing my sell orders from 820 & 842 to 862, 892 and 920 25/25/50%.
I'm giving it a 25% chance that it will drop back before hitting any of those sell orders. Current price is 795.
Yeah, the upper bounds of a standard bollinger band is right around 810 on the daily chart. It's scraping the top. It could shoot above it a bit to around 850 and go back down...or start a bit of a bull run.
Correction: Possibly as high as 870 or 890. Whatever the case, my sells will be well placed for a nice percentage profit.
Sometimes it bounces off the mid line, around 750 right now, and sometimes it goes down to the bottom line or a bit lower before returning. I'm not confident it will go down to the lower line right now, so I've been conservative with my buy ins.
I think I'll move a bit more to my trading account just in case it spikes.
Bear markets feel a bit easier to trade some times...but I'm glad Steem is going back up, at least for now. Either or gives trading opportunities. It's nicer when Steem isn't so far down that it makes me wanna cry and never buy anything though.
Well, it went down. I made all my buy ins. Sadly it didn't make it to my higher sells though. I trust it will go back up though, and I'll put some sells up there to buy back lower once again.
yeah that was some weird ass drop, didn't expect it, lol. There goes my 25% chance.
Maybe too many people were trading too early and then it went into a minor FOMO. That's why I don't ever sell everything at one number. I split all my sales across a range.
It's really good with a sudden spike, because then I have some sales somewhat high up to buy back lower.
