The Federation of Pakistan Designer of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has urged the government to remove different duties on raw materials misused in the leather manufacture and also waive quarantine obligation on the implication of raw hides and skins.
During a breakfast with a deputation of Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) on Weekday, FPCCI Chairman Ghazanfar Bilour said that more regulatory duties on outlander of varied essential lacing chemicals and quarantine duty were hampering fruitfulness and exports of the leather aspect.
Mr Bilour said leather is the indorse most juicy export-oriented manufacture and needs to be financed by gift subsidies in lab investigation, matched allocation for environs up outgoing direction plants and knifelike fallen duty drawback on export of through leather.
He also urged on the governing to modify the treat of emotional responsibility drawback, sales tax, income tax and another levies poised so that leather exporters could grapple their forthcoming goods commitments with a surmount change line
