I drive for both. In less than ten years, I believe they will both be extinct. Unless, and only unless, they are willing to accept a fraction of the “middle man” money that they are currently raking in.
The future is decentralized and middle men are on the way out. Arcade city had the right idea but with a terrible business plan. You and I can agree to a ride sharing price, without having to pay the middle man 40% of the total fare. Unless they switch up their model, they will be doomed.

But they don't wanna give any there. Uber is experimenting with self driving technology, and once they get to a point where they don't need drivers anymore, their share of the money will go up a lot higher. I haven't invested in either of them, but am watching what they do. Part of me wants them to fail for some reason.
