Europeans Sacrifice for the Owners of the USA!

I always wondered why some countries are ready to put the interests of other countries ahead of their own people, it's mainly because the US, for most of the instances, installs puppet politicians to run those countries.

What I never thought that could happen is assumingly advanced countries, with supposedly freedom of speech standards, would allow the same sacrifices paid by its people to serve other foreign countries, not even for the interests of the people of that foreign country they're sacrificing for, rather for the few 'elite' in power there.

How come there is mass stupidity in all of Europe? Creating an enemy out of a neighbor and serving a far away country that would be less harmed when matters go out of hands.
