Of the latter we say that they are ambidextrous, not all scientists agree when explaining this particularity, but most believe it is due to the following fact: the brain has two parts and each of them governs the muscles of the opposite side of the body, that is, the right part of the brain controls the left side of the body and the left part of the brain the right side of the body.

Now, it is almost all people the left part of the brain is more powerful than the right, that is, that the right side of the body is better mastered. In this the person is right-handed: he uses mostly the right hand, but if the part of the brain that dominates is the right, the person is left-handed. And if the two parts of the brain are in balance then the person is ambidextrous.
Until not long ago, parents and teachers forced left-handed children to use their right hand because being left-handed was considered a defect. Today it is known that the best thing for left-handed children is that they remain left-handed, forcing a lefty to use too much his right hand can create confusion in his sense of direction and make him not always sure where the right is and where the left.
