One of the greatest titles in the world is parent, and one of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents to call mom and dad. All a child's life depends on the ideal it has of its parents. A child who is allowed to be disrespectful to his parents will not have true respect for anyone. So many times, people told me I can't do this or can't do that. Parents aren't the people you come from. They're the people you want to be, when you grow up. Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving. Children are gifts. They are not ours for the breaking. They are ours for the making. We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves. Parents were the only ones obligated to love you from the rest of the world you had to earn it. No matter how far we come, our parents are always in us. Some people grow up with issues because they did not have their parents around growing up, and many others have issues because their parents were around growing up. Don't you just hate it when they say do your best, in reality they want you to do their best.
