<사람은 곁에서>

사람은 곁에서 누군가가 함께 있어야
심신이 건강해지는 존재다

함께 밥을 먹든지 얘기하든지, 잠자든지
이게 안되면 자주 아프고 서글퍼져
몸과 마음에 구멍이 생긴다

서로 목표나 생각이 조금씩 달라도
나 혼자가 아니구나 하는 위로가 필요하다

그렇게 함께 함으로써
마음에 쌓인 고단함이 사라진다

누군가를 만났고 알았다는 기쁨이야말로
가치 있는 사람의 감정이요
상처받기 쉬운 세상으로부터
벗어날 가장 따뜻한 삶의 순간이겠지

인생은 짧고 우리 여행 동반자들을
기쁘게 해줄 시간은 많지 않다

그러니 민첩하게 사랑하고 서둘러 친절하라
