I am pretty new to Steem, but have read a couple of posts complaining about low rewards.
The crypto hype cooled down and the prices fell and we won't probably see a new hype anytime soon. That's no reason to blame it on the platform. The only thing that can be done to increase the income is to HODL the earned coins until the next hype starts, instead of selling during the current bear market.
