Easy Love, Here Steps Wash Away (Poem)
Bound your feet, please I pray
Me your beauty, go astray
Easy love, steps wash away.
Love 😔, lust, I wish I may
Broke nigga, you answer to bail
Shy, head neatly bowed in shame.
All work done, to the smallest dime
Work hard, smart, success starts to dish.
Legs so gentle and frail
Steps sexy, lusting the grail
Easy love, here steps wash away.
Friends drink, reminisce
Love came up we gather
There was still no girl like love.
Beauty like a Queen, we agreed
Only the richest impressed with dollars
Then came a time of greed.
Heard in church, revival on the way
Cleaning the Altar, couldn't believe it
My love, my love beauty has faded away.
asked to be sure, she said yeah
Nothing, no pretty face again
Truly, beauty fades away.
This poem was written for #365daysofwriting by @mydivathings, it was brought out of my personal experience today, we were in church doing the church cleaning when I saw this girl, she was the rave of the moment then in our teenage years, but looking at her now, there's no beauty to behold in her.
Beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder.
Nice poetry. Truely beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
There's always hope for the hopeless provided that there is life.
