I thought that was a fountain at first, but then I saw you said it was a flag pole. That is pretty awesome. I wish more flagpoles had ornate stands like that.
I have yet to get a good shot showing the flagpole and flag, its surrounded by Trees and hard ot get a shot of it and I agree I wish more flagpole bases were like this or variants of it to represent the area where it is
