El torico
La plaza del ayuntamiento, donde está ubicada el torico de Teruel, realmente lo corona su fuente. El dispensador de la fuente es una cabeza de toro, pero realmente el más conocido es el que corona la columnata central de la plaza.
El término torico es el diminutivo de toro, tal cual como lo dicen en Aragón. Ellos no usan con frecuencia el sufijo ito (perrito, carrito) sino el ico (perrico y carrico, respectivamente).
En las fiestas de Teruel suelen llenar calles y plazas con charangas y licor de todo tipo, al torico le colocan un pañuelo rojo el día que el alcalde decreta el comienzo de las fiestas del Ángel de Teruel.
