OVER 150 STEEMIANS GATHERED TO LAUNCH THE UYO STEEM ACCELERATOR HUB (STACH) .I WAS THERE

The steemit accelerator hub (Stach) project is the brainchild of @ejemai,the project seeks to first , intensively promote steemit to especially the Nigerian youths and then provide an offline hub where newbies will be educated about steemit and experienced steemians can meet up and interact with these newbies to help nuture and give them roots on the steemit platform.

Rolling out the #Project20millionNaija campaign, stach target is to set up hubs all over the major cities of Nigeria. Uyo city, through the efforts of @samstickkz and his team, is fortunate to be the second beneficiary of these project. the day before yesterday, 20th was the official launching of the uyo stach so since am domiciled in uyo city i couldn't miss it for the whole world and am glad i didnt.

It was an amazing assemblage of great steemit minds from Nigeria, an epoch-making event for empowering the youths through steemit in Nigeria. I was really impressed and at the same time motivated to see steemians travel from nooks and crannies of the country to grace the occasion.

It was nice to put faces to most of the usernames from the Nigerian community I have been seeing on steemit , the likes of @destinysaid, @fistegenos @misterakpan @nairadaddy @eurogee @ejemai @pangoli @gbenga @sparkles @tojukaka @missendowed

the launching of the hub turned out to be an amazing occassion, there were lecture sessions and interactions on various steemit topics ,

a special cake was made for the occassion by @susan, tasted real good and yummy. champagne popped. all in all,it was a fun event with great camaraderie.

i left the occassion with the thought that steemit is the greatest social network platform of all time, you don't get this kind of relationships transcending the online from any other social platform, and on top of that, you get rewarded for building relationships, its just so awesome.

with these sort of steem meet ups replicated round the globe, its only a matter of time before steem's network effect surpasses that of bitcoin, this is possible, i forsee it, we just have to each put in our quota to promote steemit as a means of empowerment to the people around us. steem is becoming more than just a blockchain with a currency, its fast becoming a movement that is bound to give back power to the people all over the world.

with the motivation and inspiration i got from the launch of the uyo stach, i have taken it upon myself to be a steem ambassador, i will be starting my promoting steem series, stay tuned for updates.
