El internet ha sido un salto al futuro permitiendo estar comunicado e informado en tiempo real de noticias que están en desarrollo en cualquier parte del mundo, pero en los últimos años a nacido las Fake News (FN) que traducido al español sería Noticias Falsas pero una historia falsa entra en la categoría de FN el cual son mayormente difundidas en las redes sociales a través de cadenas o artículos en páginas web bien redactados inclusive con fotos que la hacen ver muy real pero con los propósitos de desinformar, desestabilizar, viralizar, monetizar un contenido.

En el 2017 Fake News fue la palabra con mayor relevancia internacional con 4.500 millones según el diccionario de oxford es importante que antes de compartir una noticia primero verifiques la fuente y la veracidad de la misma, en la actualidad ya se están creando algoritmos que verifican las noticias para evitar las fake news se logren viralizar
