I'm ready to feel better and get back on track

My "flu" seems to be dissipating. This is Thursday in Malaysia, and a week since I came down with it. What a rough week!

Whatever it was is just now:

  • a really bad cough
  • exhaustion
  • joint pain

I'm still needing to rest after sitting up for an hour or two, but I see progress. The cough is the worst at the moment. One coughing fit equals 15 minutes lying down. One thing about my genetic heart condition is that I need my lungs to function well. So I have been doing breathing exercises I know of as best I can and they help.

I ate oatmeal with seaweed a few hours ago and that put me to sleep for about 8 hours. I think I now need to just get stronger and recover. I have no protein up in my condo, and really need some.

I'm not too vain, and rarely look in the mirror - ever. But we have a small one in the bathroom here, and I caught sight of my face last night. I am very skinny and white right now! I will look again when I feel better. Once was enough of that, lol.

It is Ramadan here and everywhere in the Muslim world. This means many food stalls will be closed in the day and open and vibrant at sunset. I plan to get out there and get something healthy at that time tonight - about three hours from now.

I have over 300 ginabot notifications, and probably will not get to many of them. I'm so grateful to all of you for all of your support. If I missed something important, please remind me again.

Somehow I only missed two days of posting at steem. My good habits paid off!

But my posts have not been as I planned, have not been as many as usual, and have not been for the goals I had after my Singapore trip. In particular, I have a post on Twitter Tips coming up for @ecoinstant. I promise it is coming soon. Other than that, I have a long list of posts to get out on various topics for the three blogs. Soon I should be back to 2-4 posts a day on each.

My photo was taken off the balcony in Bangkok a couple years ago when the sky when crazy for a few weeks. Does that look like a natural sunset to you?

I'm glad you're improving, something I learned from fasting is how good it is for recovery.
The best way to break the fast is with proteins for the regeneration of muscle mass.
If you look at the Muslims, they break the fast with a lot of meat and then they eat the carbos.
It was a pleasure to be with you this week.
