Fullcoverbetting's Worldcup Contest: Participants
The registration of the contest did close last Friday. 2 people still had an incorrect entry and didn't update those, so they wont be on the final participants list. They had more than 48 hours to update their entry!
To be honest I am glad that the registration period has been closed. It took quit some time to register all entries! Now I have to hope that me Excel works as it should be! If you do spot any errors, don't hesitate to contact me.
In total we are with 174 players fighting for the well funded prize pool! 34 of us are also eligible for the special SBC prize pool!

The @brospn-contests will also organize a world cup contest and they will combine it with a fundraiser for a good cause. Because the @brospn-contests and @sbcbot community are close to each other, I will donate 1 SBD to the fund raiser. They are aiming to collect 250 SBDs, so if 250 people would do the same, they will reach their goal easily! The fundraiser is backed by @ats-david, who is also a witness for the Steem blockchain @ats-witness, so it is a genuine fundraiser!

Is first round the whole group stage? Or do you mean the first match of the group stage.

Nor problem with asking a question.
With the first round of the round robin matches, I do mean matchday one for all the countries in their group.
Each country will play 3 matches in their group. So, when all countries have played 1 game, that round will be closed on the participants with the highest scores will get the prizes.

It is already great advertising for our community and that would make it even better!
So now I get to learn how the rest of this works. Who knows maybe I will get lucky being a complete newbie to this, and if not, it will give me something to look at and think about while collecting cards, and looking for content, and new users to help, or other helpful causes. I did stop by the mentioned post above and gave a full upvote, it's the best I can do right now. I think people, (myself included), sometimes underestimate the power pride of a local sports team can have on a population.
