Playing Drug Wars has become a new favored past time on the Steem blockchain. I'm loving the game so far and can say for certain that many are hooked!

If you examine the numbers behind the game and see the transactions and the volume of STEEM moving through the app, then you'll see just how much excitement there is behind playing this game.

Drug Wars has already managed to claim the #10 spot for most active DApp on the blockchain and it was launched just 1 day ago! This is a true testament to the community of the Steem blockchain and how we all rally behind projects that we find exciting and valuable.

Few other blockchains, if any, see the kind of community that Steem has and the success of games and DApps such as Drug Wars will prove that quality to the rest of the world.

Rewards on Drug Wars:

What Drug Wars does for every Steemian is give them a fun way to build a little virtual empire in the game while simultaneously allowing them to earn STEEM as a reward for building their virtual drug empire as big as possible.

Your daily STEEM income can be increased in two ways:

1). Increase your daily income by producing more drugs in the game

2).Increase your daily income by using some of the drugs you produce to participate in daily heists

The below image shows a few of the relevant stats when it comes to payouts on Drug Wars. The first purple highlight shows my reward for today: 6.259 STEEM. This number is calculated based on how many virtual drugs I produce in a day in the game (currently at 79.32k) comparative to all other players.

Below that shows when the next payout will happen.

Below the payout timer is the current daily prize. This is calculated based on how much players are spending to instant upgrade and buy units. A portion of the daily spend is added to a "rewards pool" and that is the daily prize. Today's is $403.36 so far.

The final box shows the Next Hold-Up. You can invest your excess drugs in the Daily Hold-Up and earn a portion of the rewards. The higher your % contribution, the more STEEM you will earn.

In my case, I am currently earning .404 STEEM for my contribution of 14,000 DRUGS because I contributed 0.20% of the total drugs invested.

I believe that there is a great need for full database of guides to all things related to Steem and that's what I fully intend on making.

I will make a full write-up on the game Drug Wars and add it to the apps page on my website. For now, I urge you to get in the game and play around and learn it!

There is a small learning curve at the beginning, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly! A hot tip is to focus on increasing the production of Drugs, Alcohol and Weapons before focusing on building an army of units to protect your stash and attack other players!
