RE: Who is the Real Dictator?

in #busy5 years ago

The real dictator is Nicolas Maduro, he's the one sending goons to shoot at people protesting for basic access to electricity and water, and the one preventing humanitarian aid to enter.

He's the one gifting our oil to Cuba, his government expropriated hundreds of factories and farms and grinded production to a halt because he gave everything to inexperienced military personnel to bribe them.

I could keep going on and on but let me tell you that a majority of the Venezuelan population is in favor of these measures of pressure to the government. More than 10% of our population has left the country creating a massive brain drain typical of oppressive dictatorships.

Sort:

I am curious, are you in favor for a military intervention as they did in Irak, Afghanistan because of the oil reserve?

You are comparing apples to oranges here. I rather have a peaceful resolution were Maduro and his gang just leave but they have repeatably said that they rather die than do it.

You only mention Middle Eastern nations, why not talk about Panama or Chile? countries that where heavily intervened by America and they are now the most prosperous nations of South America.

I cannot change your mind and we might never agree, this is the beauty of this world.
