I recently read a very informative post about Steemit’s Churn Rate by @paulag, and her conclusions are undoubtedly concerning!
🤷🏽♂️First off, what is “churn rate” and why does it matter?🤷🏽♂️
Churn= Number of Active users at the beginning of the period + New registrations – Number of Active users at the end of the period.
Churn rate= Churn / Number of Active users at the beginning of the period.
A high churn rate is likely a bad sign. It indicates a lack of engagement and loyalty. It’s also a sign of increased consumer dissatisfaction with the platform.
She shows the Steemit churn rate to be 121% for Q1. During this time, Steemit lost more active users than gained! This is disappointing to say the least. This issue must be addressed. What are your thoughts 💭
