Asia Cup Cricket 2018.

The football fever across the world is over. Like other parts of the world, excitement of recently ended football world cup also spread in Asian region. So sports lovers must already have started missing football world cup right now. But besides football cricket is also one of the most famous sports in the world and especially among the people of South Asia it's very popular. People in this region love cricket a lot and this region has got powerful cricketing nations as well such as India,Pakistan,SriLanka and Bangladesh. For the cricket lovers across Asia ,another major and exciting cricketing event is just knocking at the door in the month of September and that is nothing but the Asia cup-2018.

This year the event is going to be held in the UAE, one of the most beautiful and developed Arabian nations in Asia who have a great passion for cricket as well. Matches will be held in 2 venues and they are Dubai & Abu Dhabi. 6 teams are participating this time. Among them 5 teams (India,Bangladesh,Pakistan,Srilanka,Afghanistan) have been qualified directly whilst another team will be selected from qualifying round. Nepal,UAE,Hongkong,Oman will fight for a position in the main event of Asia cup. In view of upcoming world cup in 2019, matches of this year's Asia cup will be held in 50 over format though the previous Asia cup tournament that was hosted by Bangladesh in 2016 was in T-20 format and India became the champion playing Bangladesh in the final. This year Bangladesh will meet Sri-Lanka in the opening match to be held on 15th September.
