While I think the project still needs to add some utility to the token in the short term to provide the demand part of the equation (like Steem also needs to do), I think it may be attractive to buy some for the long term as they have demonstrated the capability to think differently and execute!

Eventually you'll be able to help product inventors finance their projects... in return for early access or prototypes, etc.
In the present moment is simply an idea without a fact. The dapp developer need to think about that before building and create a community around it.
This is the reason most of the dapps will fail to get adoption in the long run.
