Forgiveness is Love
Forgiveness is Love. If you have not learnt to forgive, you have no love in you.
When you say you love, do you hold or count faults? Or do you forgive? Like I said in my previous post, humans are imperfect beings and are bound to make mistakes or do things the wrong way. However, your ability to love them in spite of their shortcomings is what matters.
Am I in any way encouraging you to stick to toxic people? No. Staying away from some certain people does not mean you should hate them or stop loving them.
When you forgive others and still love them in spite of themselves, you do yourself some good. The universe releases its most precious gifts to those whose minds are free of positive energy blocks. And one of such blocks is unforgiveness.
You do not want to hold yourself down because someone else did you wrong. Keep loving them even when you create a distance.

When we forgive, we free our mind from the bondage of hatred and in turn when we forgive, our God forgives us our shortcoming when we come to him
Forgiveness is not for the other person. It is for our own peace. When we forgive people, we release the hurt, pain and negative emotions that would have held us down.
Like you rightly said, humans are imperfect. When you forgive another's flaws or imperfection, you attract forgiveness for your own short comings too.
This is awesome reading this from. Anyways, I have noticed a lot of blessings in my life when I chose to forgive and keep loving in spite of all.
