Ceará Tastes/Sabores do Ceará
This morning I visited the Cascavel market in Ceará. In one of the entrances there are some outdoor benches that sell typical products of the Northeastern region of Brazil.
I began by photographing the sacks that expose beans, also has sugar cane bricks named "rapadura" that is made in mills in the nearby town of Pindoretama.
Another curiosity is the "dry beiju" made of cassava.
On another bench I found several bags of cassava flour for all tastes.
Already inside the market another box this time with several types of dried fish. I confess how I am the lover of the faithful friend known as cod. I never ventured to taste these delicacies.
On the other side for the more demanding and refined people, we found cassava and its derivatives like "carimã" gum, sprinkles, "farinha d'água" and other white and yellow flours originated in several states of the north and northeast of Brazil.
I had flour from Maranhão, from Pará, I just had to choose.
After so much interest aroused there I went to eat the usual tapioca stuffed with cheese in box 13.
I choose @prc as one of my witness.

Nice market! I've seen an initiative around called FridayMarkets or something like that. Maybe it was MarketFridays!? I don't remember who created it, though...
