For the last three months I have been tracking and posting about Steemit's Alexa rankings. Although Steemit has shown excellent growth since its beginning, this month has seen Steemit start to cool off.

It remains to be seen why Steemit is seeing a pullback in popularity. Perhaps it is because of the dropping prices of other cryptocurrencies which are affecting the price of Steem and SBD's. Perhaps it is for any combination of other reasons. At any rate, I'll admit it's rather discouraging to watch my account dwindle. Hence, I've posted very little during the past month.

However, I remain highly optimistic over the long-term. Blockchain technology and income equality are two HUGE issues captivating the interests of the world's financial architects. They need time to envision how it will work, time to build the infrastructure, and time to figure out a way to regulate it- but they know blockchain can be immensely useful.

Hopefully the next month will see an upswing.
