An Amazing Brazilian Steak House Discovery Near Me

Today was a typical lazy Sunday for @ezzy and I. After doing our routine chores at home, we decided to take a leisurely walk down the road. We came across a newly opened Brazilian Steakhouse , Frigideira. There used to be a Jamaican café here before. So we thought we would give it a go!

The decorations looked original with old style pallets patterned against the walls. A massive big screen TV playing music videos in the corner, created a warm and lively buzzing atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic about the food and eager to explain the dishes on offer to us. Our waitress was also very kind to let us try out some Brazilian Lager “Brahma” for tasting before we ordered. It was very light but refreshing. Loved it!

As we all know, barbecued meat is something the Brazilians do very well. Hence we both opted for the grilled steak. @ezzy had the "Picanha" and two side dishes whereas I went for the grilled steak with fried onion served with rice, beans and salad. The food was well presented and portions were very generous. The steak was tender, juicy and full of flavour. Even the rice was deliciously garlic infused. I was amazed at how light and delicious it was!

We also tried out the fried "Plantain", which was warm on the inside and a touch caramelized on the outside with a hint of sweetened flavouring. The perfect compliment to the grilled meat I had.

The food was great at “Frigideira” with a nice price tag included. I am glad this restaurant is so local to us. I already see us going back there for more, to definitely try out other dishes, haha!
