RE: Stuck In The Muck

in #busy5 years ago

As I always say, do not say it can get worse, because it will. We need to understand that the moment is down in our life, and we must accept it. Usually, it is in these moments that we learn many things in our lives. Just remember, that none of the most played symphonies in the world were written in a moment of happiness.

In my harshest moments, I learned a practice to think of what could be worse about the situation, and what happens is a calming effect oft times, which results in more level headed cognition. It's not easy of course, and takes work, but it's good to understand these concepts.
What you are saying reminds me a bit of Murphy's Law:
"Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong."
A fleeting thought that comes to mind whenever things go wrong, but it's rarely ever productive, and breeds a negative thought pattern, for me anyways.
Thank you for sharing these words of wisdom @robertoueti, you're appreciated.
