My Brave Experience

Hello World

Have you tried using Brave Browser? or perhaps you have not heard of Brave before? In case you have not, I advise you to have it a try because you will be astonished by this browser.

What is Brave?
In case you missed out, Brave is basically a web browser which functions pretty much like Chrome and Firefox. However, unlike other browsers, Brave is totally an Open Source browser and is a decentralized application. That means you totally have full control of your information. Apart from that, Brave is known to be the fastest browser on the blockchain. It works on top of Ethereum Blockchain in case you might wonder.

My experience using Brave
I have been using Brave for almost 2 months and the experience is really awesome. Brave comes with a full ads protection means you can surf the web ad-free. Apart from that, Brave is able to block Trackers which makes your information fully secured. Brave also awards BAT (Basic Attention Token) token if you want to earn their token from viewing ads prepared. I personally have not tried it yet because, at the moment, I am not interested to earn BAT.

Look at how much ads and trackers it has blocked? Very effective and efficient.

Though Brave does not function on Steem blockchain, I am pretty much happy using another decentralized application. This is a huge impact on my daily activities which to slowly de-attaching myself from a centralized system. Using Brave will surely be a small step reaching to a greater goal and that greater goal is to fully utilize and adapt decentralized application in my daily lives.

Brave is listed as the number 4 DApps on stateofthedapps among all other dapps.

Apart from migrating browsers to Brave, I also have been slowly migrating my social media platform such as from Facebook to Steem. Why? Because I believe in the power of decentralized application and blockchain is the future of technology.

From the bottom of my heart, I actually really wanted to see a Steem browser. This can be really a huge potential looking at how active and a huge number of Steem users there are! There were some small talks on Steem Browser idea on some post I saw but I am not quite sure how far it has been brought to. I'm hoping there are some takers on this project, if not, I perhaps would like to realize this brainchild.
