To he honest, I think this would better be done with Steem as main token. It’s a great on-boarding strategy for user growth, all while helping people getting those vital RC and then scale to other dApps.
Plus... it would give a constant stream of positive media.
But if it were a token it could be geared at 501s/NGOs and the value could be philanthropic. Usually I’m not a fan of philanthropy as a model but if tied in with actual org who have real plans and experience there could be better incentives for philanthropists than in the current systems.
Speculation. It could serve as a speculative investment vehicle. The Greatest Fools would pay Lesser Fools for posting articles ostensibly about doing good deeds. Hopefully, posts with proof of good deeds would get the biggest rewards. Imagine promising to walk a granny across the street on the condition that the granny says "Thanks for walking me across the street." to the camera.
