Awareness campaign to reduce the damage to cyclone in Noakhali

Awareness Campaign (Simulation) was organized jointly by the Red Crescent Society and the German Red Cross, to reduce the damage and reduce the risks of casualties in the coastal areas of Noakhali. The exercise was held at Mohammadpur Union of Subarnachar Upazila on Wednesday. In this, about 300 local people, 25 volunteers from Red Crescent and 17 CPP volunteers took part.

In this exercise, how can volunteers work as signals during the cyclone, how can coastal people safely be brought to the shelter center, emergency food, safe water and first aid can be provided. Besides, the depiction of how to reduce the subsequent damage to the cyclone is shown.

Touhidul Islam Dipu, representative of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent, was present as the simulation observer.
