Knacksteem: A SMT Monetizing Your Passion

The expansion of the STEEM blockchain is continuing.

There are 7B people on the planet, all who have talents and interests. The challenge is finding the people who appreciate what one is offering so as to monetize it.

Enter Knacksteem.

This is an application that looks to enable individuals to share their talents/passions with the world by posting them to the STEEM blockchain which then can be monetized. The goal here is to create an application that brings the content creator and the users of said content together. Ultimately, they want to reach outside the STEEM ecosystem to bring people here.

The twist to this compared to what is already offered on STEEM Is to transform local economies. This platform is offering both online and offline rewards.

As a social media community, Knacksteem will not only bring people together, but utilise its Steem based rewards system to diversify local economies. Individuals can now exchange Steem cryptocurrency to fiat (local currency) and vice-versa, thus creating an avenue for foreign and local exchanges.

Furthermore, members of our community can now earn money offline or online solely by their talents and skill, meaning they can now have two ways of earning which economists call Diversification of Income.

Knacksteem aims to become a job resource center. Through the platform, it will enable job creation by having people to showcase their interest and skills. At the same time, it will become a virtual company where one is both boss and employee. Finally, it will enable the ability to learn skills through the educational section.

They have different categories for people to focus upon.

Here we see another application that is looking to expand outside the present STEEM ecosystem and attract more people. If this can gain a reputation of a "job creator" for people, through doing what they are passionate about, that could be huge. There are many areas in the world where jobs are either tough to come by or do not provide much satisfaction. If the community can grow to the point where those who are creating content can be joined with those who utilize it, then Knacksteem could be onto something.

Each week, we are seeing more of the same thing. There are many projects that are emerging which are expanding the capabilities of this blockchain. This network is quickly filling up with applications serving many different niches. Over the next year, I surmise we are going to see a lot more of this. Right now, I am sure, there are many things that we are not aware of being developed behind the scenes.

SMTs are really showing the potential impact they can make. There is plenty of incentive for applications to go this route. The ones that are successful can really pay off.

I just keep imaging what STEEM will be like when there are 100K entrepreneurs on this blockchain.
